Developer’s writ motion denied, trial set over housing project

California Commercial Investment Group, Inc. (CCI) accused the City of Agoura Hills of rushing through the denial of a commercial and housing project to make room for mandated affordable housing. But Los Angeles County Judge Kevin C. Brazile found no evidence of impropriety.

The City of Agoura Hills on Monday defeated a motion for writ of mandate from a land developer who said a mixed use housing and commercial project had been improperly denied to make room for mandated affordable housing.
