Judge seeks to disqualify colleague in murder resentencing

Judge Patrick E. Connolly accuses the judge presiding over the resentencing, Daniel J. Lowenthal, of making comments which show that he was prejudiced and biased in favor of the convict, Justin Flint.

A Los Angeles County judge seeks to disqualify a bench colleague from presiding over the resentencing hearing of a man convicted in 2007 of the murder of a sheriff’s deputy.
