Crime victims try to intervene in suit over zero bail plan
If the motion is approved on Friday, Crime Survivors Inc. will be the first such organization to defend in court the long-standing practice of secured money bail. They also may mount a more vigorous defense than the city and county of Los Angeles have to date against the lawsuit filed by civil rights groups.




Crime victims advocates seeking to be heard on the impact of a zero bail plan that became effective Wednesday in Los Angeles County have refiled a motion to intervene, arguing that their interests were not represented before the court.
