DOJ appeals ban on government talking to social media platforms

A federal judge in Louisiana enjoyed the government and the Biden administration from flagging third-party posts it finds problematic, while conservative states pursue a lawsuit.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday filed a motion seeking a stay of a preliminary injunction issued by a Louisiana federal judge’s order barring a host of government agencies and Biden administration officials from talking to social media companies in most instances.
