The Strike! Part 4: At the bargaining table
It was now almost 4 a.m. the next morning! If we didn’t come to an agreement by 5 a.m. at the latest, no workers would appear at the fields, and the asparagus stalks would probably go to seed, prematurely finishing the crop for the season.
