Antitrust plaintiffs want details of NFL/YouTube deal
The NFL announced last year that its “Sunday Ticket” television package was moving from DirecTV to YouTube TV.
Google LLC may be asked to provide details about its $14 billion broadcasting agreement with the National Football League as attorneys at Susman Godfrey LLP, representing plaintiffs in long-standing antitrust litigation, filed a motion to compel in federal court.
Google did not respond to a request for comment Wednesday. Ninth Inning Inc. dba The Mucky Duck et al. v. Google LLC, 5:23-mc-80213-NC (N.D. Cal., filed Aug. 21, 2023).
