Bonta asks for stay of assault rifle ruling
This is the second time in a month that Attorney General Rob Bonta has asked 9th Circuit judges to stay a gun-friendly ruling by Senior U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez.
The California attorney general has asked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for an emergency stay of a district judge's order striking down the state's ban on semi-automatic rifles.
