The lawsuit arises from the Oceanwide Plaza development in downtown Los Angeles. Construction on the three-tower project near the Convention Center in 2019 after the developer was unable to secure additional funding.
A bench trial started on Wednesday to settle a dispute between a contractor and an investment group for a massive downtown Los Angeles development that came to a halt when the project ran out of money.
