Walmart and Vans settle dispute over knockoffs of ‘iconic’ shoe

U.S. District Judge David O. Carter enjoined the retailer from selling knockoff Vans shoes last year, which its attorneys argued would cost Walmart tens of millions of dollars in profits.

Walmart Inc. and skateboarding apparel brand Vans Inc. informed the court that they had resolved their trademark infringement dispute three weeks before the case was set for trial in Santa Ana.
