Vaccine plaintiffs’ goal achieved, but judge denies fees

Judge Mitchell Beckloff struck the mandate down on constitutional grounds in a related case and said the plaintiffs were not the successful party.

A judge rejected a nonprofit’s motion for attorney fees, saying it never won at any proceeding, though its goal — an injunction against the Los Angeles School District’s vaccine requirement — was achieved when the judge found the mandate unconstitutional in another case.
