Why some Californians may want to get divorced in Arizona
Legislation passed in Arizona last summer has created differences between the two states, in both the potential amount and duration of spousal support payments.
Californians have been moving to Arizona in droves in recent years because of the lower costs for everything from housing to health care. But it turns out there may be even bigger savings for some contemplating divorce.
