Comcast Cable Communications Management LLC, one of the biggest cable providers in the Bay Area, was accused of violating California employment laws in a putative class action.
Among the accusations in the complaint, filed Monday under the state's Private Attorneys General Act, is a claim that Comcast's company policy was to pay employees for their rounded time on the clock as opposed to their actual time worked.
