US and California square off over whether federal rule on 'ghost guns' is stringent enough

A federal judge in San Francisco considered dueling summary judgment motions Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Justice and the state over whether a federal agency's rule covering "ghost guns" is stringent enough.
The Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, along with the state attorney general's office, claimed the Biden administration's rules leave large loopholes that have made it easy for people to assemble untraceable weapons at home.
