Fertility center exploited patient information, suit says

“Simply put, defendants put their desire for revenue over their patients’ privacy rights,” John R. Parker Jr. of Almeida Law Group LLC wrote in the federal complaint.

A couple accused San Diego Fertility Center Medical Group Inc. of using third-party tracking technology on its website to monetize users’ medical and personal information.

John R. Parker Jr. of Almeida Law Group LLC, the attorney for the couple and putative class members, filed the federal complaint Monday, claiming the fertility center embedded undetectable tracking tech on its website such as the “Facebook Pixel” and “Google Analytics.” ...
