Judge lets environmental groups intervene in LA County oil wells lawsuits

Bridgeland Resources, Matrix Oil Corp., Native Oil Producers, and The Termo Company opposed the motions, arguing that they had not shown a “direct and immediate” interest in the case, and that their involvement in the takings cause of action would complicate the cases.
