Homeless suit to await high court anti-camping ruling
The Supreme Court will hear arguments in the case, filed by Grants Pass, Oregon, on April 22, challenging a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision that that city’s ordinance violated the Eighth Amendment.




A U.S. magistrate judge in Oakland ruled Friday that plaintiffs’ lawsuit against San Francisco over its homeless policies should be postponed in part until after the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether the city’s anti-camping ordinances are unconstitutional.
