Employers fight state, federal rulings on PAGA claims
The filings are the latest efforts by employers in their battle against plaintiffs’ attorneys who file complaints under PAGA, a 2004 California law that allows aggrieved workers to file lawsuits to recover civil penalties on behalf of themselves, other employees and the state for Labor Code violations.
