The Torrance Airport Association has sued the City of Torrance over an ordinance that the group says improperly takes aim at airplane noise levels in violation of federal law.
The petition for writ of administrative and traditional mandate filed on Friday concerns city ordinance 3927, which imposes landing fees on aircraft flying into Torrance Airport.
