Antitrust plaintiffs seek TRO to stop layoffs at Activision

“They’ve replaced the president and the CEO and these things have compounded upon themselves to a point here, your honor, where they’re effectively gutting Activision,” Cadio R. Zirpoli of the Joseph Saveri Law Firm LLP told U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley.

Microsoft Corp. and its recently acquired subsidiary Activision Blizzard Inc.’s firing of employees and replacement of executives since the companies merged last fall warrant a temporary restraining order, plaintiff attorneys told a federal judge on Thursday.
