Special master recommended for $23.9M construction dispute
The lawsuit was filed in 2021 by Swinerton, alleging breach of contract by the Asian Art Museum for a construction project. Swinerton has since filed counter complaints against seven of its subcontractors, who have also filed cross-complaints.




A Superior Court judge on Thursday recommended a special master be appointed in a $23.9 million construction contract dispute between Swinerton Builders and the San Francisco Asian Art Museum because of the recent addition of 13 companies to the case.
