The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California moved to reopen its 16-year-old case against a purveyor of unpasteurized milk.
In a series of motions filed Friday, attorneys with Phillip A. Talbert’s office argued that Organic Pastures Dairy Company and its CEO and founder have defied a 2010 consent decree. Government attorneys also filed declarations from two scientists linking the company to a salmonella outbreak last year.
