Professor who developed browser tool seeks immunity from Meta action
Ethan Zuckerman's attorneys said he developed a browser extension called Unfollow Everything 2.0 that would allow users to unfollow their friends, groups and pages, allowing them to tailor their feed to their preferences.
The developer of a Facebook tool that allows users to curate their feed said in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday in San Francisco that he feared legal action by Meta Platforms if he released the tool, asking the court for immunity under the Communications Decency Act.
