Lassen County judge ordered removed from the bench

The Commission on Judicial Performance found that Judge Tony Mallery had engaged in multiple counts of willful and prejudicial misconduct.

The Commission on Judicial Performance has ordered Lassen Superior Court Judge Tony R. Mallery be removed from the bench for dozens of counts of misconduct.

Mallery did not run for reelection this year. It has been two years since the court's presiding judge ordered him to stay away from the courthouse because of alleged threatening and abusive behavior.
