City loses bid to overturn firefighter arbitration

The City of Los Angeles had claimed that the arbitrator who ruled in a firefighter union's favor exceeded the scope of his authority.

A Los Angeles County judge declined to overturn an arbitration award a firefighters' union won against the City of Los Angeles over its decision to place firemen on leave if they did not have the COVID-19 vaccination.
