Yolo County lawyer sentenced to jail for groping teenage girls

Davis attorney Matthew B. Smith was sentenced to 70 days in county jail and ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years for groping two teenage girls who worked at the Sacramento Yacht Club.

Smith was convicted in April of two counts of sexual battery and one count of battery. People v. Matthew B. Smith, CR2022-1120, (Yolo Super. Ct., filed Apr. 22, 2022)
