Music industry lawyer gives $5M to Occidental College
John Branca said he wants the money used to help promising music majors at local community colleges to transfer to Occidental.
Veteran entertainment attorney John G. Branca, a partner at Ziffren Brittenham LLP, gave $5 million to his alma mater Occidental College to establish the John Branca Institute for Music.
The Institute will partner with community colleges in the region to provide transfer opportunities for students with diverse backgrounds and perspectives who wish to pursue music education at Occidental.
