Tech mogul cleared of fraud charges in acquisition by Hewlett-Packard

British tech mogul Mike Lynch and former Autonomy vice president Stephen Chamberlain were acquitted after an 11-week trial in San Francisco.

Following a lengthy extradition battle and 11-week trial in San Francisco, British tech mogul Mike Lynch was cleared on Thursday of all counts of criminal fraud related to Hewlett-Packard's soured $11 billion acquisition of his company Autonomy.
