Data scraping service seeks disqualification of Quinn Emanuel

Bright Data alleges that Quinn Emanuel violated professional responsibility guidelines by switching sides and going after the scraping service after initially representing them in a lawsuit against Meta Platforms.

Counsel for an Israeli data scraping service asked a federal judge in San Francisco to disqualify Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP from representing X Corp. in a breach of contract dispute, saying the firm violated professional responsibility guidelines by switching sides and going after the scraping service.
