Knobbe secures dismissal of infringement case against Masimo

Wrist SP Biotech filed a complaint in the Western District of Texas accusing the Irvine-based tech company of infringing on its patented technology for its pulse oximetry sensors.

Irfan Lateef, a partner at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear LLP, secured the dismissal of a patent infringement lawsuit against Masimo Corp., the firm announced Monday.

"We are thrilled to achieve this for Masimo, which we have represented for 30 years," Lateef said. "It's rewarding to work with such a client that litigates these cases on the merits."
