US judge dismisses sex trafficking claims against porn conglomerate
Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald found that the plaintiff's publicity and privacy claims fell under the statute of limitations pursuant to the single-publication rule, and that the companies were not liable as secondary actors for merely hosting or distributing such videos or aiding and abetting.




A federal judge in Los Angeles found a Jane Doe plaintiff failed to state a valid claim to hold pornography conglomerate Aylo Global Entertainment and its business entities directly liable under the Trafficking Victims Protections Reauthorization Act for its alleged participation in a sex trafficking venture that was orchestrated by one of its now-defunct websites.
