Psychiatrists win $6.1M on retaliation claim against UC Riverside
Dr. Jeannie Lochhead and Dr. Michele Nelson claimed they were retaliated against for reporting misuse of state funds, patient safety concerns, and billing fraud.
A jury awarded $6.1 million to two former faculty members of UC Riverside who said they were disciplined for reporting misconduct in the Department of Psychiatry.
