Gasoline companies accused of fixing prices by manipulating the spot market following a 2015 explosion at a Torrance refinery agreed to pay $13.9 million to settle the consolidated litigation, weeks after the California Attorney General filed deceptive marketing claims Exxon Mobil and other major fossil fuel companies.
