A coalition of gun rights organizations and individual firearm owners filed a lawsuit in San Diego County Superior Court, challenging the state's new 11% excise tax on firearm and ammunition sales.
The plaintiffs, including the Second Amendment Foundation, Firearms Policy Coalition, California Rifle & Pistol Association, and National Rifle Association of America, along with two individual gun owners, are seeking to overturn Assembly Bill 28, which took effect on July 1.
