Bridgestone subsidiary accused of racial discrimination, labor violations
Plaintiff, Richard Cong Phan alleges that he was discriminated against for his Vietnamese ancestry and forced to perform "embarrassing tasks" including cleaning the restrooms due to his heritage.




The retail subsidiary of Bridgestone Corp., the world's largest manufacturer of tires and other rubber products, was accused of violating California wage and hour laws as well as racially discriminating against an employee at its San Francisco auto service storefront.
