Intuit, H&R Block ask judge to stop each other from misleading tax customers

Intuit alleges that H&R Block's marketing tactics deceive customers and affect public trust, while H&R Block denies any wrongdoing and maintains that its marketing decisions have not flouted any laws.

Intuit Inc. and H&R Block Inc. urged a federal judge in dueling motions to enjoin the other tax provider from luring business away through false advertising, telling the court that the rival party's marketing tactics deceived customers and affected public trust.
