Judge finds evidence to support attorney misrepresented client relationship

The ruling is the latest development in an ongoing dispute between the Cochran Firm and their former employee Ibiere Seck over client fees.

An attorney accusing affiliates of the Cochran Firm of stiffing her on fees in a 2019 civil sexual assault lawsuit in Riverside lost a bid for summary adjudication at a hearing on Tuesday. Plaintiff Ibiere Seck is also a defendant in a suit by Cochran attorney Brian T. Dunn claiming that Seck misrepresented her relationship with a Doe client in a sexual assault case to obtain a greater share of attorney fees.
