As Chevron exits California, it's unclear if energy attorneys will follow

The oil major announced that it would be relocating its headquarters to Houston, Texas. It joins other high-profile companies which have exited California in recent years.

Chevron, the oil major with links to California dating to the 1870s, announced the relocation of its headquarters to Houston, Texas on Friday. The move, which was widely anticipated, follows recent legal action brought by California Attorney General Rob Bonta claiming the company was deceptive in denying a connection between fossil fuels and climate change.
