Incentivizing work and family values: Dr. Milton Friedman still lives!
Dr. Milton Friedman proposed a "Negative Income Tax" or "Stipend" system to replace the current welfare system - a system that would incentivize people to earn the extra dollar, encourage fathers to live with their children, and reduce the cost and intrusiveness of the current welfare system.
