Firm Sponsors Museum Exhibit

In the spirit of its continued commitment to The San Diego Museum of Man, Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP is sponsoring the traveling exhibit “RACE: Are We So Different?” which examines race from a biological, cultural, and historical viewpoint. The American Anthropological Association developed the exhibit, but the San Diego Museum of Man added local elements with reflections on the history and impact of race in San Diego. To celebrate its opening, the firm hosted a private showing of the exhibit on Feb. 17 at the museum. Dr. Erylene Piper Mandy, president and CEO of the Center for Cross Cultural Competence gave the keynote address, and Luce Forward’s managing partner Kurt Kicklighter reinforced the firm’s commitment to the community and its diversity. This isn’t the firm’s first partnership with the museum: for nearly 40 years, Luce Forward has had a representative on the museum’s board of directors, and its current executive director is a former Luce Forward partner.
