A Perfect Catch

They say nobody's perfect, but Fish & Richardson recently proved otherwise when the Human Rights Campaign gave them a perfect score in the 2011 Corporate Quality Index, a survey that asses American workplaces on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. Fish & Richardson is one of only 337 companies in the country to receive an 100% rating this year. The firm has made a concerted effort through a web of programs called the Diversity Initiative, to foster a "creative, respectful and inclusive" work environment. The Initiative focuses on recruitment and professional development, reaching out to communities outside of the legal world. Fish & Richardson has consistently been recognized for its commitment to diversity Official nods to their efforts include being named one of the Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity by MultiCultural Law magazine every year since 2005, and listed in the top quarter of Minorty Law Journal's National Diversity Scorecard in 2008.
