Premo's Pro Bono Work Pays Off

Patrick Premo, partner in the Litigation Group and Chair of the Pro Bono Program at Fenwick & West, was awarded the 2010 Pro Bono Services Award for his legal contributions to the community by the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA). He was recognized at SCCBA's Annual Judges' Night Dinner held on October 19. Under his direction, the Fenwick & West's Pro Bono Program logged over 11,000 hours of pro bono work, totaling nearly $5 million in legal aid. Currently, Mr. Premo is working with Senior Adults Legal Assistance on a pilot program to provide representation on the Elder Abuse Restraining Order Panel, helping seniors obtain temporary restraining orders to prevent abuse. He also assists victims of domestic violence through the Pro Bono Project's Limited Scope Representation Project.
