South Asian Bar Association Honors Legal Leaders

More than 300 members of the legal community gathered to celebrate the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California’s eighth Annual Public Interest Foundation Banquet on March 3 at the Kyoto Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The Association recognized several attendees for their achievements in the legal profession, including presenting Central District Judge Consuelo B. Marshall with the Judicial Appreciation Award for her support of the Association. Other honorees included Assistant U.S. Attorney Rupa S. Goswami, earning the Public Interest Award, and Navneet S. Chugh, founder of The Chugh Firm, picking up the Trailblazer Award. Guests celebrated into the night with Bollywood dancing, Indian dinner fare, and presentations expanding on the mission of the foundation.
