U.S. Attorney’s Commitment to Public Service Recognized by Armenian Bar Association
The Aremnian Bar Association honored U.S. Attorney Andre Birotte Jr. on Feb. 24 at the Phoenicia restaurant in Glendale. More than 200 judges, lawyers, and law students gathered to recognize his 20-year commitment to law enforcement, the legal profession, and public service. President Obama also acknowledged his dedication last fall when he appointed Birotte to his current post as the top federal prosecutor in Southern California. In his address, Birotte praised the association for its local strength and effort to unify its community, and extended a personal thank-you to former association president Judge Jacqueline Chooljian, whom he cited as a mentor when they both were Assistant U.S. Attorneys.
