Emily Johnson Henn

Henn is representing The Walt Disney Co., Lucasfilm and Pixar Animation Studios in defense of a class action filed against a consortium of animation studios over alleged agreements not to poach each other's employees.

The case was brought after similar litigation against several Silicon Valley technology companies. A $415 million settlement was reached in September.

The animation workers antitrust litigation is in the class certification phase.

Henn is accustomed to representing clients in sprawling high-profile cases. She is Procter & Gamble's lead counsel in six class actions -- in the Northern District, San Francisco County Superior Court, the Southern District of Ohio, the Eastern and Southern districts of New York, and the District of Minnesota.

The cases center on claims that Charmin has falsely marketed that its Freshmates personal hygiene wipes can be flushed. While these wipes may go down, how they might affect the wastewater treatment system is being debated.

In January 2015, U.S. District Judge James Donato of the Northern District granted P&G's motion to dismiss that case, holding that the plaintiff lacked standing to assert claims. Litigation is ongoing across the nation.

"I never expected to learn so much about the sewer system," Henn said.
