      Here's a taste of keyboard shortcuts that are identical in both Mozilla Firefox 1.5x to 2x and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7x.
     
      Close a tab: Control-W
     
      Cycle through tabs: Control-Tab. To reverse direction, add the Shift key.
     
      Make a new tab: Control-T
     
      Open a new window: Control-N
     
      For Firefox's entire shortcut list, go to its Help menu, Contents, Keyboard Shortcuts. (Just for good measure, get the Mouse Shortcuts there too.) For Internet Explorer's full shortcut list, go to its Help menu, Index, shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts.
