On Saturday, volunteers from the San Diego Bar Association teamed with judges from the San Diego Superior Court to hold a beach cleanup, along with I Love A Clean San Diego. Friends and family members of the legal community were also encouraged to participate. More than 140 volunteers collected 165 pounds of trash and 13 pounds of recyclables from the Crown Point Shores area of Mission Bay. The event was co-sponsored by the Association of Legal Administrators, Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association, Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego, Iranian American Bar Association, Korean American Bar Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego, Native American Lawyers Association, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, SDCBA Environmental Law/Land Use Law Section, South Asian Bar Association and the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association. — David McAfee
