Inner City Law Center held its annual gala fundraiser Thursday, honoring Antonia Hernandez with its 2010 Humanitarian Award for her career of protecting and expanding the rights of society’s most volunerable. Former president of MALDEF, Hernandez now heads California Community Foundation, which focuses on improving lives of Southern California’s most needy. The center also recognized Southern California Edison as a national leader in energy efficiency.
