Bet Tzdek has teamed up with Los Angeles County Superior Court to set aside a special session in probate court to help low-income families caring for developmentally disabled children obtain conservatorships for their adult children. Many parents and guardians are unaware that they can no longer make legal decisions on behalf of their children once they become 18.
