The British American Bar Association hosted a reception Thursday for Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, President of The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom at the Kings Head pub in Santa Monica. Lord Phillips sits as the first president of Britain’s new court of final appeal, which recently replaced the Appellate Committee of the House of Lords.
