Polashuk, who has helped negotiate everything from Thursday night football broadcasts for CBS and NBC to programming for PBS, moves confidently through a wide range of media platforms.

"Dealing with the expansion of these platforms is challenging and interesting," Polashuk said. "This has totally changed the way television is viewed."

With her representation of the NFL, Polashuk helped negotiate contracts that allowed for CBS and NBC to both have broadcast access to the Thursday night NFL games during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

This wasn't the only time Polashuk has represented the NFL. She also represents the league for both NFL Network and RedZone across a variety of platforms.

While Polashuk said the expansion of television onto the tablet and the mobile phone has been remarkably quick, if there is a surprise it is "there is still so much to learn about what people want to watch and on what devices."

Polashuk shepherded a comprehensive renewal agreement between The Walt Disney Co. and Direct TV. Under the terms of the multi-year accord reached in late 2014, 20 million Direct TV subscribers will have access to Disney's and ABC's lineup of sports, news, kids and entertainment content across televisions, computers, smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and other devices.

Polashuk represents PBS in the drafting and negotiation of carriage agreements (including video-on-demand and multicast) with various cable, satellite and Internet distributors.
